Welcome to NatureKnits!

laminaria-saccharinaDear friends and web-wanderers, welcome to NatureKnits – the site formally known as PipKnits.  Rest assured that Pip the Cat is alive and well.  But it’s time to freshen up and sharpen up and having taken a good look at what I do well, NatureKnits it is.  Exciting times.

And just so we’re clear, I reserve the right to blog about knitting, crochet and sewing, community projects, science, getting involved and living a life mindful of resources.  And other things of relevance.  I’ve got a few yarn projects in the pipeline on the knitting and crochet front and will keep you up to date with progress.

In the mean time, here’s some crocheted Furbelows – we’ve had lots of seaweed holdfasts washed up on the beach in Penzance.  I’m glad to say that the yarn version doesn’t smell.
