Knit for Nature: a community knitting project run by Somerset Wildlife Trust to support hedgehog conservation.

Make Morsbags: help replace plastic bags and prevent marine pollution by sewing beautiful reusable shopping bags.  Use them, share them, give them away.

5375214_origWildlife Rescue Nests are looking for knitters and crocheters to make nest for rexcued wild animals.  Originally the project covered Canada only but now extends around the world.

WIRES Wildlife Rescue in Australia needs pouches (knitted) and pouch linings (sewn) to keep orphaned wombats, wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, gliders or possums warm.  I’m assuming a glider is a marsupial and not a type of plane.

beeDerbyshire Wildlife Trust are asking knitters to create bees as part of their ‘Bee all and end all’ knitting project.  Send your buzzy beasties to the Trust and they will distribute them around the county.
